7. Glowing Beaches
The Maldives Islands are stunning. Tourists love them for their wonderful weather conditions, climate, warms waters and constant sunshine. There are more things to do and see in that part of the globe. The main natural phenomenon that attracts many people’s attention would be the glowing beaches that the Maldives are famous for. The glow can be seen at night. This is when the waters start emitting blue light. In fact, the effect comes not from the water but from the ostracod crustaceans. It’s a species of seed shrimp. This tiny creature turns the beaches into something absolutely fantastic and unique. The place and view are definitely worth visiting and seeing.
8. Sundogs
Light can create effects that will amaze you for sure even though you can explain the physics. One of the most special effects that light produces is called sundogs. That’s the halo of light surrounding the sun. Most of us must have seen this phenomenon at least once. Sundogs usually form 2 bright spots on the left and the right sides of the setting sun and create an illusion of 3 suns. It occurs due to the ice crystals and water vapor in cold clouds.
