How to Make Your Eating at a Buffet Healthy

5. Your plate should be mainly filled with fruits and vegetables. The fewer fatty and sugary foods you pick, the better! Of course the calories that you are about to consume matter – choose the dishes that contain fewer calories. Vegetables and fruits are more nutritious than any other types of foods.

6. Proteins should be portioned out. You will never go wrong if you opt for lean proteins like chicken, turkey, or fish. They are much healthier than other sources of protein. Avoid red meat and processed foods as well as cold cuts and bacon. Watch your portions and limit your intake of less beneficial proteins.
