Your man has no right to demand anything. You are a mature person and no one can control or dominate you. If you are a smart girl, do not do the following things:
1. No need to always agree with him
Neither you are supposed to agree with your partner all of the time nor your partner has to nod and say ‘yes’. Each of you is an individual who has his or her own opinion and viewpoint. If you express your thoughts and ideas in a polite manner, then you will not offend your partner. Also, be understanding and reasonable. Do not overreact and do not feel hurt if your partner disagrees with you. Discuss your issues and try to find ways out together. See which one has a better solution.

2. Let him clean his own mess
You have your own life and you are not your partner’s mom. Do not let him behave as if he is your baby boy. He is a grown up dude who can wash his socks and plates. He can make dinner and clean the kitchen afterwards. If you are not ready to clean after him for the rest of your life, either leave him or tell him to do the basic things without your assistance. After all, you can spend that time on something more meaningful and fun. Invest your time in yourself, your hobbies and career.
