7 Myths That Can Ruin Your Relationship

5. Does an Affair Mean an Inevitable Break Up?
This statement is not true. Not all affairs mean a break up. Some are more damaging while others may be not hurtful at all. And not every affair can lead to a break up. Women tend to believe that it is impossible to continue with a person who has had an affair with someone else. If you trust your partner enough and know he will never cheat on you again, try and forgive him that mistake. Try to analyze the situation and understand what the real cause was.

6. ‘Mr. Right’
You are an adult. You are mature enough to understand that Mr. Right might not exist. And people meet each other and they choose to stay with each other for a whole variety of reasons. Not every couple you know can tell you a story about their love ‘at first sight’. We often fall in love with a person after knowing them for quite some time. The better you know someone, the longer your relationship will last. Do not believe in ‘the one’ myth. Learn to love the person for his efforts to become better for you. Expecting to meet someone absolutely perfect is totally silly.
