3. La Oroya, Peru
We can blame Doe Run for making the area so toxic. This company runs a lead smelter in La Oroya hence pollutes the town. There are a lot of families with children and doctors report that the main reason why most of them feel unhealthy is the environmental situation in the city.

4. Yamuna River
The river is located in India. The local authorities have been trying to do all possible to improve the situation and clean the waters. Unfortunately, their attempts are not effective enough to save the river. The government has invested lots of money in treatment facilities, but the amount of sewage is too huge and the equipment cannot handle it all.
