3. Scotland
The Eilean Donan Castle stands in Dornie. This site is located in Kyle of Lochalsh. It is not a tropical island, but it can offer you more than any other exotic place you have been to. There is Loch Duich nearby and the whole of flora and fauna of the place makes you feel as if you travelled back in time to the 13th century. Although in Scotland there are plenty of special castles, but this one is worth your special attention.

4. Austria
Welcome to the Hohensalzburg Castle. This stunning structure is located in Salzburg – one of the most visited sites on the planet. It’s a fortress standing on a hill. Its height is over 500 meters and its length is 250 meters. This is probably the hugest castle in Europe. It was established in the 11th century.
