1. The Pearl-Qatar
It’s easy to guess the country in which this man-made island is situated. The area is known to foreign investors since it is allowed for foreigners to purchase the land there. Currently, there are more than 12,000 people living on the island. It is expected that in the future there will be plenty of entertainment facilities for both tourists and residents.

2. Willingdon Island
India boasts the largest man-made island in the country. The island belongs to Kochi, the city located in Kerala. First, it was a natural island whose area was enlarged artificially. The purpose of the project was to make the island larger so that more people could reside there. Willingdon Island is famous for the Naval Base and the Port. There are a few business centers and hotels.
