3. No Protein
The best thing you can do to maintain healthy weight or lose some pounds is to replace simple carbs with lean protein. If your breakfast does not have protein, you will feel hungry in a matter of an hour or so. Eat cottage cheese, yogurt and eggs for breakfast. Or add a bit of protein powder to your morning smoothie.

4. Eating Cereal
Pay attention to the labels. Some brands of cereal are far from being healthy. Even if you see that this or that sort of cereal contains vitamins and tons of fiber, do not buy the product unless you know how many carbs it has. The worst thing is that manufacturers add too much sugar to make their cereal taste good. Simple carbs lead to obesity and diabetes.
