3. Be careful with conditioner
Conditioning is only good when you need soft waves. You cannot expect to have tight curls after shampooing and conditioning your hair. Wash your hair and try not to use any sort of oils or conditioners before you start curling your hair with an iron. High quality shampoo won’t dry out your hair so there is no need to worry.
4. Replace oily and creamy styling products
Oil is heavy. So is cream. Read the labels on your hair styling products that you usually use and make sure that they do not contain too much oil or other oily ingredients. If you use masks and conditioners that have an oily formula, then you will never be able to have beautiful curls for long. The heaviness of oil and cream will weigh down your locks. Avoid greasy products and replace mousses and balms with non-greasy alternatives.
